milanlazare: The Metamorphosis of the Vessel
Since 2025, I have been working diligently in Maastricht to create a sensory revolution that intertwines fine dining and fine art. As a culinary alchemist and visual poet, I inhabit a unique space where these two worlds converge. My reputation for boundary-pushing cuisine is rapidly growing, but it is my work with the "Old Vine" - the abandoned glass relics of a night well spent - that has captured everyone's attention.
From Cellar to Canvas I view the empty wine bottle not as waste, but as a silent witness to celebration. My process involves radical reclamation by applying intricate, dynamic abstract patterns to these glass silhouettes, transforming the utilitarian into the totemic.
- The Medium: Reclaimed vintage bottles, hand-picked for their unique architecture.
- The Style: Fluid, rhythmic abstractions that respond to the curve and refraction of the glass.
- The Result: One-of-a-kind art objects that retain the soul of the vineyard while speaking a contemporary visual language.
A Local Presence You may have already encountered my work without realizing it. My hand-painted vessels are currently gracing the tables of Maastricht's most prestigious dining rooms, from the sophisticated atmosphere of the city's high-class restaurants to the vibrant, eclectic energy of Bar Lazy. They serve as both centerpieces and conversation starters, beacons of a new, sustainable aesthetic.
"To me, the dinner table is the ultimate gallery. Every plate is a performance, and every bottle is a permanent record of that fleeting magic."

milanlazare: The Next Chapter
Until now, the "milanlazare Experience" has been a whispered secret, reserved for a tight-knit circle of friends and family fortunate enough to attend my private soirées. However, I am excited to announce that I am curating my first-ever dinner for selected guests. This event promises to be a total immersion: an evening where the exceptional dishes on the plate mirror the abstract complexity of the bottles on the table."
